Support the People Who Care for Us All
When you give, you’re reshaping the daily realities of our healthcare workforce.
For the people who serve as the beating heart of healthcare—those who have dedicated their lives to the healing of others—your gift builds a system of true structural support.
Together, we’re turning momentum into measurable impact, championing confidential access to mental health care and sustainable, safe workplace environments for our healthcare workforce.
Choose Your Impact
Your Generosity in Action
Your generosity protects and sustains the human beings behind healthcare. When you give, you choose how your support positively impacts their daily lives:

You Are a Stigma Stopper
Your contribution powers national public awareness and advocacy campaigns that shift the culture of healthcare from silence to open conversation. You fuel large-scale storytelling and educational initiatives, ensuring millions of health workers receive the vital message that they are never alone.

You Are a Champion of Confidentiality
Your gift ensures that when health workers need mental health support, they can seek it with privacy and confidence. You help safeguard their careers and help us scale these protections from the more than three million health workers currently supported to all 22 million nationwide.

You Are a Driver of Systems Change
Your generosity drives structural advancements across health systems, delivering evidence-informed tools that target the operational root causes of burnout. You fuel the implementation of workplace changes proven to reduce workforce burnout and improve access to mental health care.
Meaningful Ways to Support Health Workers
Your investment in our healthcare workforce can take many forms. Here are a few ways you can work alongside us to build a sustainable future for health workers:

Workplace Matching
Unite your workplace to care for the human beings who look after us all.
Thousands of organizations match employee gifts dollar-for-dollar, instantly doubling your support for the health workers in your community. Companies can also proactively host matching campaigns, transforming the workplace into a community of collective care for our healthcare workforce. Check with your Human Resources department or leadership team to see how your workplace can stand united behind our caregivers.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)
Direct a grant from your DAF to maximize your immediate charitable impact.
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable giving vehicle administered by a public charity (such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or local community foundations). It allows you to make a tax-deductible contribution to the fund, grow those assets tax-free, and intentionally support 501(c)(3) organizations over time.
You can log into your DAF vendor’s online portal and search for the Dr. Lorna Breen Foundation using our tax identification number, EIN: 85-1509081. From there, you can easily recommend a one-time or recurring grant distribution to support our systems-change work.
Leave a Legacy of Support
Include the Foundation in your long-term planning to safeguard future generations.
Legacy giving is a powerful way to make a lasting commitment to health workers. By planning a future gift, you help ensure that the healthcare workforce will have a system that protects their wellbeing and mental health for decades to come.
You can easily add the Foundation to your estate plans by naming the Dr. Lorna Breen Foundation as a beneficiary in your will, living trust, or retirement account (like an IRA or 401k). You can choose to designate a specific dollar amount, a piece of property, or a percentage of your estate’s residue. We recommend consulting with your estate attorney or financial planner to add this designation.
